I met Jeannie Saum at the Mother Earth News Fair in September and was quite impressed both by her and her products. I love honey and truly believe and understand its healing properties but I have to honest I had not considered propolis.
Propolis is the resin that the honeybees used to coat their hives. It – the propolis – has antibacterial, antiviral, and anti fungal properties. Her article also provides a chart of various health conditions that there have been studies done to show the value of of treating with propolis.
