Amikaeyla Gaston to speak at Women’s Herbal Conference

banner womens herbal conferenceAmikaeyla Gaston will be the featured Keynote Speaker at the 6th Annual Mid Atlantic Women’s Herbal Conference this fall. The Conference will be held 1-2 October 2016 at the Kempton Community Center in Kempton, PA. Saturday evening, she will discuss “Embracing Ultimate Dynamism – The Bold Art of Unleashing Your Authentic Voice and Solving the Holistic Mystery of You.”

 

Saturday afternoon Gaston will also lead a session titled “Spirit Wisdom: Sacred Song and Chant Share.” Sunday morning, she will speak on “Unleash Your Inner Power.” National Public Radio (NPR) has called Gaston one of the “purest contemporary voices” of today. Gaston founded ICAHSI, the International Cultural Arts & Healing Sciences Institute.

Ford, PhD.; Deb Soule of Avena Botanicals; Jenn Allen of Honey Wood Herbal; Tammi Sweet of the Heartstone Herbal School; Sarah Thomas of Clarity Acupuncture and Clarity Stone Medicine; Robin Rose Bennett, founder of Wisewoman Healing Ways; Sharon Moncrief of Greenbrier Herbalist; Kira French, Jade Sullivan who will be teaching her first class on the art of henna; Andrea Reisen of Healing Spirits Herb Farm and Education Center; Suzanna Stone of Owlcraft Ways; and Linda Anderson of Earth Emporium.

 

Other sessions that weekend will in The Conference will be held 1-2 October 2016 at the Kempton Community Center in Kempton, PA. Session will include herbal identification and instruction, herbal remedy preparation, gardening, and herbal medicine. There will be yoga sessions. Local women vendors will provide food throughout the weekend. There will be both vegan and gluten free alternatives.
