Mother Earth News Fair will run tomorrow, Friday, 15 September through Sunday, 17 September at the Seven Springs Mountain Resort. The 8th Annual fair offers hands on workshops, interactive workshops, in booth demonstrations, and of course, exhibitors. The Fair is designed to bringing the popular magazine to life.
Talks cover a wide variety of topics. Tradd Cotter, of Mushroom Mountain, will speak tomorrow on medicinal mushrooms. Saturday, Sandor Katz, of Chelsea Green Publishing, will speak on fermentation. Ladies, join Cyndi Ball of the National Ladies Homestead Gathering as she lunches with the National Ladies Homestead Gathering and the Pennsylvania Women’s Agricultural Network. Dan Chiras, of the Evergreen Institute, will speak on Solar Electricity. Other topics include homesteading, livestock, meat processing, bee keeping, composting, gardening, aromatherapy, herbalism, distilling, and more!
The Fair will run Friday from noon to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The 2018 Fair is tentatively scheduled for 14-16 September.
